-times 5: skip count by 5, or 10 times the group then chop it in half
-times 6: times 5 and 1 more group
-times 7: count by fives, add the double
-times 8: double plus double plus double
-times 9: times 10 and subtract 1 group
-times 10: mentally add a 0 to the number, or skip count by tens

Language Arts
We've been focusing on writing informational text using multiple sources. We're working on learning note-taking skills and annotating the main idea of paragraphs.
We recently wrote - or are in the process of finishing - an informational essay about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
We created posters about Icelandic Puffins based on written and video sources.
Currently, we're working on creating posters about seals' adaptations to the ocean environment. We're using written articles, websites, and videos as sources.
